Research-led customer portal design for a leading insurer
An insurance customer portal needs to support everyday administration, policy management and claims processes. We began the project with comprehensive UX research, ensuring design decisions were based on genuine user needs and behavioural patterns. (user experience)
The greatest challenge was making a complex insurance dashboard containing a large volume of information easy to scan and use quickly, even on a small screen.
Building on the findings of user research, we developed the wireframes over several iterations, continuously involving the client’s team in the design process. The project resulted not only in a new customer portal, but also contributed to the organisation’s growing UX maturity, while incorporating international best practices from the insurance sector into the solution.
