Profirent UX/UI redesign (user experience and user interface)

Reorganising a portfolio of 10,000+ products for a user-friendly experience

Client: Profirent
2023
6 months

Profirent sells and rents thousands of construction machines and pieces of equipment, so one of the digital platform’s most important tasks was to present its extensive product portfolio clearly. We began by rethinking the information architecture to help users quickly find the machines relevant to them.

The biggest challenge was organising more than 10,000 products into a logical category system and creating navigation that was easy to explore.

As the client did not have a dedicated UX or design team, we actively supported decision-making throughout the design process. Working closely with the developers, we shaped the webshop’s information architecture and navigation to balance user needs with technical feasibility. (user experience)
